Our client is a not for profit insurer and health care provider which exists predominantly to meet the health care needs of its members.

About the role

As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for determining the scope and objectives of the internal audit plan. You will perform and control the full internal audit cycle and ultimately prepare and present reports that reflect your findings and any implications for the risk, financial or technology control frameworks and outstanding issues.

In addition, you will manage deep dive investigations and make recommendations which address the root cause issues across the business as directed or in response to audit findings. You will also be responsible for conducting follow up audits to monitor management's response to audit findings and recommendations.

Reporting to the CRO, this role offers an excellent opportunity to elevate the profile and responsibilities of the internal audit function. Regional travel will be required.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

To ensure your success in this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with demonstrated experience as an Internal or External Auditor. You will have demonstrated skills in managing a number of projects concurrently, with varying timeframes and workloads, in a high-volume work environment. You will also possess a proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with senior managers and other stakeholders.
