About the role

Due to internal growth and promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Auditor to join our experienced and passionate Internal Audit team. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading all IT internal audits including systems, frameworks, security and data and how these relate to the operational, financial and governance processes within the Youi Group. The role will also involve the delivery of audit outputs including final reports within agreed timescales and in accordance with Internal Audit Standards.

A normal day may see you:

• Analysing and documenting key IT processes in order to establish the scope of the audit and identify key controls
• Assessing Risks – identifying weaknesses and recommending improvements through formal reports
• Populating working papers with good quality planning, fieldwork and reporting material on a timely basis
• Liaising with the Head of Internal Audit and other members of the team
• Identify where system/IT issues may impact operations or risk/governance frameworks
• Engaging and communicating with Executives and department managers, providing audit results whilst ensuring the scale and scope of deliverables are adequately understood
• Evaluating and monitoring corrective actions taken to address any control weaknesses identified
• Analysing the Youi IT environment to shape the IT Audit Universe which includes all major processes and functions
• Working alongside a talented, highly collaborative and strategically focused team of audit professionals.

About You

The successful candidate is likely to have previously conducted IT audits, within a professional or financial services environment, with a solid technical understanding around all things IT. You must be degree qualified in a relevant discipline and possess a professional membership as either a; Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA). To hit the ground running you’ll bring with you a strong ability to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels across the business, delivering difficult news where required and influencing change. Forward-thinking, you’ll be keen to test the design, implementation and effectiveness of controls and look at ways to improve processes, all the while sharing your learnings with your team.
