As the conference and events organiser you will be responsible for planning, organising and coordinating services for conferences, training, events, functions, banquets and seminars primarily with, and for, women. Tasks Include: Planning events for Fresh Clinics clients to build communities of entrepreneurial women Promotion of training, conferences, functions and seminars to existing and potential clients Responding to inquiries concerning training, conferences, functions and seminars Meeting regularly with existing and new clients to discuss their needs in relation to training, conferences, functions and seminars and outlining options to meet these needs Arranging and coordinating services and programs, such as presenters, trainers, facilities, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, accommodation, transport and social events for participants Organising registration of participants Developing and presenting plans for training, conferences, functions and seminars to Fresh Clinics Directors, including budget Negotiating the type and costs of services to be provided within budget Overseeing work by other employees and contractors and reporting on variations to work orders Work with media outlets to promote training, conferences, functions and seminars Conducting evaluation of events and reporting back to Fresh Clinics Directors. Role requirements: Three years experience in event management Exceptional organisation and coordination skills Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral Capacity to work in a fast-paced professional work environment Ability to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a consistent customer focused approach Ability to deal with client needs and complaints in a professional and respectful manner Ability to work well both within a team environment and autonomously. Desired experience: Media / public speaking experience Work with entrepreneurial women Evaluation of events and collecting feedback Building community Ability to influence, motivate and lead people. This is a Full-time position with an annual salary of $60,000-70,000 depending on experience. Location, Sydney NSW.
