About the role:
The Opportunity: Senior Consultant, Risk Advisory Services
This is a dynamic role for a skilled professional ready to lead client engagements, mentor teams and deliver high impact risk advisory services. You’ll work across internal audits, compliance reviews and strategic risk consulting projects, engaging directly with senior stakeholders and contributing to business development.
What You’ll Do
- Lead multiple risk advisory engagements from planning through to execution
- Guide and mentor team members, ensuring quality and consistency across projects
- Manage budgets, timelines and resources to deliver exceptional outcomes
- Build strong relationships with clients across diverse industries
- Conduct technical and operational reviews, providing actionable insights
- Prepare clear, commercially focused internal audit reports
- Identify and address risks, ethical concerns and compliance issues
- Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory developments
- Support marketing and business development initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations with confidence and clarity.
About you:
What You Bring
We’re looking for a proactive leader with a strong foundation in internal audit and risk advisory. You’re analytical, communicative and committed to delivering value.
Essential Skills and Experience
- At least 2.5 years’ experience in internal audit and risk advisory, ideally within professional services
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in report writing, process mapping and governance frameworks
- Solid understanding of IPPF, ISO 31000 and compliance good practices
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable
- Experience managing teams
- Relevant certification or professional membership
Education
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is essential
