About the Role
As an Internal Audit Manager, you will lead the delivery of end-to-end internal audit and advisory engagements, providing practical insights and recommendations that help clients strengthen governance, risk management, and internal controls.You will be responsible for managing projects from planning through to reporting, ensuring engagements are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced consulting environment and is passionate about delivering meaningful outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end internal audit and advisory engagements across a diverse client portfolioOversee project planning, resourcing, delivery timelines, and quality assurance activitiesConduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate workshops with business and executive stakeholdersDevelop internal audit scopes, work programs, flowcharts, testing approaches, and reportsIdentify control weaknesses, business risks, and improvement opportunities, providing practical and commercially focused recommendationsPrepare and present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and client stakeholdersBuild and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality deliverySupport and mentor consultants and senior consultants within engagement teamsContribute to practice development, business development initiatives, and thought leadership activities
What We’re Looking For
Experience within internal audit, risk advisory, or audit consulting environmentsStrong understanding of internal audit methodologies, governance, risk, and internal control frameworksExperience managing multiple engagements and competing priorities within a consulting environmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong report writing and presentation capabilityAbility to lead teams and manage client relationships effectivelyA proactive, solutions-focused, and collaborative approach
Technical Skills & Experience
Experience across the following areas will be highly regarded:Internal audit and risk advisory deliveryInternal control frameworks including COSO and COBITRisk management frameworks such as ISO 31000Business process reviews across finance and operational functionsPreparing audit reports, risk assessments, and control remediation recommendations
